What is Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is sometimes referred to as the “user’s manual for your mind”. It empowers, enables and teaches you to better understand the way your brain (neuro) process the words you use (linguistic) and how that can impact on your past, present and future (programming). It gives you strategies for observing human behaviour and learning from the best (and worst) of that!
Have you ever done something really great and wondered how you did it? NLP is the study of excellence and the study of both the conscious and unconscious processes that combine to enable you to do what you do. NLP shows you how to understand and model your own successes, so you can reproduce them. It’s a way of discovering your own personal genius and a way of bringing out the best in you and others.
The key to success is often unknown at a conscious level and the use of NLP can elicit those pieces. The key pieces are found in your inner thoughts, like words or pictures or feelings or even beliefs. Once you know these unknown pieces you can change them. NLP exercises are like thought experiments, metal exercises or a game and the laboratory is your mind.
All you need is a desire to change and a willingness to learn new ways of being with yourself, your thoughts and with others.
